Financial Wellness Reinvention

If life & business are broken, do this (very personal)

Writing to you from our happy place in the mountains of the French Alps

It’s a time of joy and also a time of sadness

Joy because it’s the first time we’ve been able to travel outside the UK and sadness because we’re preparing what was to be our retirement home for sale

We’re here for just a week but we approach this seriously just as we do our online business

Everything has to look it’s best when a potential buyer walks through the door so that we have the very best chance of making the sale

There are times in your life when you just have to do what you have to do

For us it’s always been about re-inventing our retirement after we lost so much during the 2008 worldwide recession and financial melt down

Our chalet here in the French Alps was ONE thing that we salvaged and did everything we could to keep it

It led to a radical commitment to re-inventing our retirement including renting out our chalet to a ski tour operator

The pandemic combined with Mum being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s has meant yet another re-invention

And quite honestly it feels like it’s the right decision

What we finally realized is that you can have ultimate success AND ultimate bliss if you’re prepared to embrace change

If we could sum it up, it would be with this quote which we believe originally came from James Michener…

“The master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labour and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence at whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him, he is always doing both.”

If this resonates with you, write down this quote and spend some time with it

If it feels right, commit to this way of living

And when you get off course (which you will) pull the quote back out and recommit

Another part of our re-invention includes our commitment to building the residual income side of our business (so we can do more in our retirement)

And we want to show you how we’re doing it

It combines mental wellness with financial wellness and is a wonderful option if you are concerned about either or both of the two

In fact we would encourage you to take this quiz and find out for yourself

Wishing you continued peace, freedom and financial security
